This past weekend, my husband and I decided to go on a roadtrip through the beautiful mountains of Tennessee to the rolling hills of Kentucky. We have family there and they took us on a wonderful tour of the Talon Vineyard in Lexington. The lush landscape and magnificent construction of an old farm house, turned gift shop took me completely by surprise in the middle of the country side. The beauty of the soft grassy green meadow stretched as far as the eye could see. The grape filled vines lined the top of the hills as we slowly walked down each path admiring the handy work of those that had prepared the land and planted the seeds for a bountiful harvest. Reflecting on the beauty of that day, reminded me of the verse in John... “I am the vine, and you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will bear much fruit; for you can do nothing without me." - John 15:5
